Champion human rights for children, youth, elders, men, and women. Work collaboratively with schools, community groups and PBC’s to deliver efficient community-based programs.

Health care in our communities
Lobby Government commissioned funding for Torres Strait Health 'community-based' care . Skill up communities, jobs for locals. Make sure money is kept in the community and establish health career development.
'Upgrade infrastructure in community'
Upgrade and maintain essential community infrastructure and improve access to facilities, such as jetties and sports facilities.

Promote values that are consistent with good pasin and good leadership, connection to families, culture, land and sea. Leadership that is consistent and accountable.
Regina knows the urgent need for climate mitigation in the Torres Strait. As TSIRC Mayor, she will prioritise climate change issues on a state, national and global stage.

Protect low-lying island communities from extreme weather, build sea walls and erect appropriate infrastructure to manage the risk of rising sea levels, eroding our shorelines and threatening our way of life.

Advocate for our people of Zenadth Kes to continue thriving in our communities cultural place & practices, and protecting our marine ecosystem.

Work with PBC's, schools, and community groups to cultivate Youth Leadership & Governance programs, including university scholarships based in community.
Invest in Green Energy community driven research using natural resources – solar, wind and tides.
Building a stronger future in the best interest of our children & their children's children.
Establish a young peoples forum to engage with community leadership, elders groups, service providers, education sector and the arts
As Mayor, Regina will advocate for greater gender diversity on committees, advisory boards and panels, eg, inclusion of womens' voices in decision-making.

Promote community controlled service delivery.
Support self determination initiatives through leadership and governance programs for whole of community. Recognise traditional cultural kinship roles to bring balance in community.

Ensure our people have access to information regarding council decisions that impact on community. Encourage community education that leads to greater engagement with local, state and federal elected officials. So that decisions are made with our people, not for us.
